On BBC Look North, watch Katarina Dome, KaskoSan volunteer and prospective Roma MP from Bradford, a city where right now more than 300 Roma are in need of help with their EU Settled Status applications so they can stay in the U.K. and wouldn't have to move back to Eastern Europe.
KaskoSan has been busing Slovakian Roma to the embassy in London and also to the Czech consulate in Manchester since October 2020, however more than 300 Roma families struggle with obtaining their EU settled status and are scared of the risk of deportation.
This time Katarina Dome takes action and travels with hundreds of Roma to London to get their documents sorted to enable their EU settled status (EUSS) applications.

We've just learned that the U.K. government provided organisations with £25 million to support the EUSS applications of harder to reach groups like Roma. With KaskoSan, we don't know any Roma charity that would've received any support from the government. Let us know if you do! There are now 300 individuals in need of help: they need money to travel to London and to sort out their documents. Watch the news for more info!
